Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. FileCPU runs entirely in your browser. Your images are read into memory, placed into a PDF locally, and handed back to you as a download. Nothing is ever transmitted or stored.
How is this different from the JPG to PDF tool?
It is the same converter — this page simply makes it easy to find when your files are not JPGs. Drop JPG, PNG or WebP images here and you get one PDF, one page per image, in your chosen order.
What happens to PNG transparency?
Transparent areas are flattened onto a white page. A PDF page is white anyway, so the image looks identical — but if you needed the transparency itself preserved inside the PDF, that is not what image-to-PDF does.
What page sizes can I choose?
"Fit to image" makes each page exactly the size of its image. A4 and US Letter place each image centered on standard paper with a small margin. Orientation follows each image automatically.
How many images can I convert?
Up to 100 images at once, each up to 25 MB. The limits exist because all the work happens in your browser's memory.
Is it really free?
